Furniture Exhibition

Exhibition design synthesizes the configuration of space, planning of sequence, and the contextual staging of the exhibited object(s) into a coherent whole. This assignment was to design a small pavilion, a structure, designed to be placed inside the northern end of the foyer, inside The Royal Playhouse. The Royal Playhouse wants to celebrate Danish Design by creating an exhibition in meaningful and tactile dialogue with the Playhouse and the immediate outside. I chose the “ father of Danish furniture design,“ Kaare Klint (1888-1954).
